Space Thoughts

Did you know you might be able to stay young longer? I question space and Earth a lot because there is so much to learn about but, there is a lot we don’t know yet. It's kind of a lot to take in.
Recently I watched a movie called Interstellar. It was very good. It was about a future on Earth where it was uninhabitable and there was a scientist who works to save mankind by wanting to move earth's population via wormhole, then sends a retired astronaut and some others to go look at it and its three planets.
In this movie it had some fiction and nonfiction. The real part of it was where he goes to a planet in space far from earth. He was there for 1 hour in space which was 7 years on earth. Now this made me confused. I was thinking about what it was because I’ve never heard about it, later he was there for longer and when he returned to earth finally, he was still young but his kid was already an old woman. After watching it I did some searching and it turns out that this is in fact real but it was a bit exaggerated and not accurate.
This is called time dilation, it's a concept from Einstein's theory of relativity it does affect time in space, relevant to different reference frames but the effect is negligible for most space travels. Although the time dilation is only a little bit in space, the astronauts on the international space station are moving so quickly that they do age slower in space and are aging slower than the rest of us. I also read an article and it stated that if you spend ten years in space traveling at some velocity relative to earth:at half the speed of light, the speed of light =11.5 years so about 1.5 years pass on earth.
The slowest planets are Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter. In theory you could say staying younger for longer is possible. To me time dilation is a sort of way to stay young like a slow time machine? Based on this, think about what you believe.
